Pimoroni designs, manufactures and markets products for creators, educators and creatives. Founded in 2012 by Jon Williamson and Paul Beech, Pimoroni is dedicated to creating a treasure trove of technology for artisans of all stripes. Founded just after Paul won the Raspberry Pi logo design competition, Pimoroni is supported by the Raspberry Pi community and the wider creator community and aims to make electronics more accessible and attractive by making them more available to more people. The company has grown at a compound annual rate of 80% since its inception and now employs over 30 people at its headquarters in Sheffield, North of England. This growth has been sustained by international sales through more than 50 distributors worldwide, and Pimoroni is the largest Adafruit distributor in the UK.
